To pursue this course,
you should have strong analytical, experimental and problem
solving skills. For B.Sc ZBC/Biotechnology, you must have some compulsory
subjects in 10+2 that are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who have interest in study of living
organism and their properties can opt for this course.
For B.Sc. PCM, you must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as
compulsory subject in Intermediate. B.Sc. Home science can be pursued by those students who have science in
their 10+2.
In order to get admission in any B.Sc. course (ZBC/Biotechnology/PCM/Home science), you must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate
in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination, from a recognized board .Admission in few colleges are Direct (on the merit basis of marks
obtained in 10+2) or through Entrance
Exam.
The Selected
candidates then have to go through Group Discussion and personal interview to
get into the course. Through group discussion and personal interview,
capabilities and skills of candidates are assessed on the individual basis.
Generally forms are
available in the month of June and July every year. Candidates need to
fill the form and has to submit as per the guidelines prescribed in that
prospectus.
